Make it cosy inside!
Sounds obvious but heating is a key property marketing tool in winter!
Before the viewings are scheduled, put the heating on (check all your radiators are on too) and make each room a comfortable temperature.
This is a great time of year to point out the boiler and the central heating to prospective buyers.
If you have a real fire or log burner, it’s the perfect opportunity to showcase this feature and demonstrate that all the chimneys/flues are in good working order.
And if you’re managing the viewing yourself, or you’ll be present –
why not break the ice by offering your potential buyers a warming drink?!

Just because it’s cold outside doesn’t mean that potential buyers won’t want to look around inside your property!
Put your house on the market before Christmas to get ahead of the game and secure a buyer before the market gets crowded in January.
